This location had a very nice sign once-upon-a-time and was located on El Centro's motel row @1960s-70s.

Around 2012 it was converted to the "American Inn" and later to "Villa Hermosa Apartments".

Opened in 2010, this is a tiki-themed bar and nightclub in Gandia, Spain.

This location opened in 1959 as a tiki themed coffee shop belonging to the Spencecliff Corporation which owned many classic tiki themed unique architectural sites. Today it is Flamingo. There were at least two other Tops locations, one in Waikiki and one in Waipahu.

Kahuna Tiki is a tiki-themed sushi restaurant with tropical drinks.

Kahuna Tiki initially opened without a liquor license and was only a sushi restaurant. A liquor license was added in June 2015, but for beer & wine only, no hard alcohol, so the tropical drinks on offer are made with sake, soju and the like (Their second location, Kahuna Tiki TU, has a full liquor license and an expanded cocktail menu featuring drinks with hard alcohol).

There is a very large outdoor patio with rock features, waterfalls, pools, trees, and beachcomber lamps.

Kahuna Tiki is known for its luau presentations and burlesque shows as well.

*NOTE: The owners have announced that this location may be closing in 2025, but as of February it appears a 6 month extension on the lease was reached. So, make sure to visit while it is still around. Their sister location, Kahuna Tiki TU, will remain open.

Tiki Bar opened in 2005 near the Colonia Roma Norte section of Mexico City. The bar had a sleek design, with lots of bamboo. Jorge Alderete (Dr. Alderete) designed a logo tiki for them that has been turned into a mug and shot.

Appears to have closed in 2019.

Tiki Bar, on the northwest side of Moscow, opened in January or February of 2008. It occupied a spacious building, with several rooms featuring painted beach scenes, life-size boats, and some large tiki carvings. The restaurant menu was fairly extensive, and included an unusual variety of international fare, with everything from Italian to Indian to Mexican. A large menu of tropical cocktails was available.

Appears to have have closed @ March 2024.

This tiki bar/nightclub on the south side of London opened in 2008 and closed just a few months later in 2009. The bar had three levels, the main level had a dance floor, while the upper level had a lounge with karaoke.

Converted to Fish & Chip Shop -- now Goddards at Greenwich Pie & Mash.

Tiki Torch Restaurant and Bar was short-lived: it opened in the summer of 2008, and was gone by January of the next year. It served burgers and tropical cocktails. Scooter riders got happy hour prices all the time.

This site was home to Providence Tavern (later just "Providence") from 2019 - 2024.

Was located in the Regina Inn; the Inn is still there, but Ky-Tiki is no more.

Opening and closing dates are uncertain, but it was definitely in operation from 1969-1970.

Opened in 1988.

Tiki Village is a tourist attraction on the west side of Moorea, the small island directly to the west of Tahiti in French Polynesia.

Here visitors can see Tahitian traditions and dances in a utopian tropical setting and dine on roast pig and other delicacies at their restaurant.

Owner Amy Tichenor felt that Queens' best beach neighborhood was missing a proper tiki bar and filled that gap in April 2021 with the Rockaway Tiki Bar.

Rockaway Tiki Bar joins the other offerings of Arverne of the Sea, including Locals Cafe, Super Burrito, Cuisine by Claudettes, Vino by the Sea, Bar Marseille, Breakwater Surf Shop, Boardwalk Pizza, and Batesy’s BBQ.

The bar is located one block from the Atlantic Ocean and one of the best surf breaks in the Rockaways.

The food menu features poke bowls and dumplings. The cocktail menu is limited to a top 12, including a couple of chiller slushie drinks served from their machine.

Though small, there is some great tiki and vintage decor, including some carvings by Tiki tOny and a 70s velvet painting of a topless girl behind the bar (exposed nipple tastefully covered by a dried-out starfish).

There is also outdoor seating.

Opened in February 2020.

This is a combination mash-up of Detroit style pizza restaurant and tiki bar, owned by Salar Madadi.

Salar describes his pizza:

"So with a Detroit-style pizza, they're cooked in a rectangular pan. Ideally, it's like a seasoned steel pan. It's like a hydration dough with a higher hydration. Like when you bake it off, you'll get more air into the crust and it'll come out crispier. Your sauce goes on top, if you're using a sauce, and you have cheese that goes edge to edge. So you get like a crispy cheese crown all the way around. I enjoy eating foods where each bite is different and different in texture and flavour. The crispy cheese crust was, I think like the first time I had it, I was like, 'Oh, this is awesome.'"

About the decor:

Salar spent a good amount of time sourcing Polynesian art to decorate the place. He built a considerable amount of the furniture himself. He was buying bamboo from all over Canada to carve and build some of the posts, assembling vintage lamps. There is even a booth in the restaurant dedicated to Spam and all the variations of Spam.
