Opened in 1973. Closed briefly in 2019 and then re-opened under new owners.
This restaurant is more heavily tilted towards being a Chinese restaurant than a tiki destination, but nonetheless they serve drinks in tiki mugs and have bamboo and rattan throughout.
Tiki Village
Prince George, British Columbia, Canada (Closed)
Opened November 12th, 1964 by Bill Blinko and Vic Booth.
It was Prince George's first downtown supper club.
This was a well-known live music venue.
The club went bankrupt and closed its doors on December 5th, 1966.

Trader Vic's - Vancouver B.C.

Opened in 1961.
This Trader Vic's was located in the Westin Bayshore Resort & Marina, in an A-frame building designed by architect Reno Negrin.
It closed in 1996.
After closing, the Bayshore sold the building to David Whiffin of Vancouver Island and he had the structure transported there, where it still rests today, at least as of 2020.
Kon-Tiki - Montréal

This restaurant, the first of the Kon-Tiki chain owned by Steve Crane and his second restaurant after the Luau in Beverly Hills, opened in 1958 and was in the Sheraton-Mt. Royal. It closed in 1981. Some of the decor from here went to the Jardin Tiki.
Sneeki Tiki - at the Best Western Premier Chateau Granville Hotel & Suites & Conference Centre

This bar and restaurant opened in September of 2018 on the street level of the Best Western Premier Chateau Granville Hotel & Suites & Conference Centre.
The bar and restaurant was known for offering live music on select nights.
However, it closed @2020.
The Shore Leave

The Shore Leave opened in the Danforth neighborhood of Toronto in November 2015. Closed on April 15th, 2020 as result of the Covid crisis and their inability to pay their rent.
Sutra Tiki Bar

Sutra Tiki Bar operated in the late '00s in Toronto's Little Italy neighborhood, until it closed in 2012. The bar had relatively light tiki theming, was quite small and narrow, and had a sand-filled back patio.
Hawaii Kai - Montréal

Opened in 1963.
This Polynesian-themed bar was part of Bill Wong's Restaurant, but all traces of its tiki history were erased during a 1998 remodel into "Billie's Bar," a bland, generic update.
Today this location is home to a vacant building (newly built around 2000) that is available for retail or restaurant lease as of 2021.
Tilley Endurables

Tilley Endurables is a hat company in a suburb of Toronto, and they have several sculptures on the front lawn of their headquarters. One of these is a very large moai, approximately 15 feet tall. It was created by Bob Breault in 1987.
