This lovely home tiki bar, at the home of Chip and Andy, features a lush tropical outdoor area with ideal outdoor temperatures year-round. It was a featured destination on the Home Bar Tour for Hukilau in 2005.
The Leeward Lounge
West Allis, Wisconsin, United States
Home tiki bar of Milwaukee-area tikiphile finkdaddy, the Leeward Lounge features a built-in bar with thatch overhang, lauhalla wainscoting, lots of bamboo, and artwork from congatiki, hewey, kirby, chisel slinger, Bosko and Lake Surfer. Some of the bamboo used in building the bar was salvaged from the nearby Mai Kai Lounge when it closed.
The Durukuli Lounge

The Durukuli Lounge is a home tiki bar nestled in the hills of Los Angeles, created by tikiphile Karen Ross Wilson (a.k.a. LAWebChick). The bar evokes images of the best of Adventureland, and manages to maintain its cozy feel even though it is outdoors. The Durukuli Lounge has some unusual and tasty drink specialties, and Karen's keen eye has brought a Disneyish aura to the place.
The word "durukuli" is a natural fit for the bara durukuli is a nocturnal monkey, and Karen is truly a nocturnal creature.
The Dark Marq Room

The Dark Marq Room was an enchanting home tiki bar created by tikiphiles Scott (a.k.a. thedrunkenhat) and Colleen (a.k.a.TikiCleen) in 2004. Their beautiful home featured a number of rare tiki collectibles. Scott has taken to inventing his own drink specialties, and Colleen fiendishly seeks items from the defunct nearby Stockton Islander restaurant.
The Dark Marq Room closed in 2008.
Kev's Tiki Bar

Kevin (better known as Unga Bunga) has a home bar that's involved and inviting. This bar, which sits in the corner of his living room but manages to feel like its own room, has no less than three functioning water features, including one built into a support post, and a raging waterfall at the back. Lots of bamboo and thatch, and lots of great drinks.
