a.k.a. Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Blue Wipe Variant
This mug is shaped like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man mascot from the film, Ghostbusters (1984). Mr. Stay Puft first appears as a picture logo on a prop package of marshmallows in Dana Barrett's apartment, on a graffiti advertisement on the building next to the Ghostbusters' HQ, and then in the climax of the film as the gigantic physical manifestation of the Sumerian deity Gozer. Subsequently, he has been incorporated into many other Ghostbusters media, including the animated series The Real Ghostbusters, comic books, a stage show, and video games. Mr. Stay Puft resembles the Michelin's Bibendum (also known as the "Michelin Man") and the Pillsbury Doughboy. Along with the Ghostbusters logo, the image of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man has become one of the most recognizable emblems of the franchise. This regular edition mug features a blue-wiped glaze with red spot decorations. There is also a Bone Variant and an orange wipe Cross The Streams Variant (Limited to 150 from DesignerCon). The mug was designed by Joe Allard, sculpted by Tufan Sezer, and created with contributions from "Thor" Thordarson and the crew from Tiki Farm.
