    Nuku Nuku Brown For Clifton's Pacific Seas Maiden Voyage

    A Marquesan styled Tiki mug. Nuku Nuku is a replica of a carving created by Bill. Glazed in a satin matte with a medium-hued brown glaze which is then wiped to allow the richer hues of the glaze to prevail in the recesses. This version was marked with a heat decal for the grand opening of Clifton's Pacific Seas and their "Maiden Voyage." Not to be confused with a version following this that has the location name molded into the back.

    Trader Sam's Rum Barrel Matte Finish Wipe-Away Teal Blue a.k.a. Trader Sam's Rum Barrel 4th Edition

    This is a mug shaped like a rum barrel with barnacles and seaweed clinging to the side. This fourth edition of the mug has a has a matte beige (with yellow tint) wipe-away finish with matte teal blue still left in the recesses. The interior is a glossy clear glaze. It appears to be a new sculpt and is slightly smaller than the previous editions. Used to serve the Shipwreck on the Rocks cocktail made with Maker's Mark bourbon, freshly muddled lemon and mint with organic agave nectar.

There is a reverse version of this mug with the ghost's skeletal head inside the hatbox and a vacant space under the hat that was issued for Trader Sam's Grog Grotto in Florida. Both versions are white with a wash wipe-away glaze to pick out sculptural details. This version is bone with a brown wash. Inside is brown.

Used to serve the Krakatoa Punch cocktail on their menu, made with "Reserve and Spiced Rums, Tropical Juices, Orgeat, Sam's Gorilla Grog, and Hibiscus Grenadine".

    Sam's Seafood Maori Mug a.k.a. Sam's Seafood Lined Face Maori Mug

    This brown, square-shaped mug was designed and sculpted by Squid for Sam's Seafood in Huntington Beach, CA. Based on an early design from the 1960s, made into mug and bowl form by Beauce Pottery of Canada and Spurlin (who also did a salt and pepper set of this design). The mug debuted on August 4, 2007. The tiki has a face lined with moko with eyes squinted shut. His body has a woodgrain look. He is kneeling and has his hands on his chest. The first run of 1000 mistakenly read "Gambino for Tiki Farm 2007."
